DAY 1 Pick up from Entebbe airport / any hotel in Kampala – Drive to Kidepo valley national park

After your morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your Kampala or Entebbe hotel or from the Entebbe international airport by an English speaking driver guide from Africa Adventure Vacations to be briefed about your 4 day Kidepo valley national park wildlife safari and then begin your road drive to Kidepo. The drive will take you through the Luwero triangle, with a stop in Gulu town for refreshments and lunch before continuing on to the park. When you arrive at the park, go straight to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2 Kidepo valley national park – Morning game drive to Narus Valley – Visit Karamojong communities.

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, depart for an early morning game drive to the Narus Valley. Narus Valley is a grassland plain with distant mountains that serves as a permanent water supply for the park’s mammals. As a result, the area has excellent game drive tracks for exploring a variety of wildlife species such as Jackson’s hartebeest, Lions, Caped buffaloes, Oribis, Rothschild giraffes, oribis, reedbucks, cheetahs, and ostriches. After your half-day game drive to Narus Valley, return to your lodge for refreshments and lunch before heading to the Manyatta communities of the Karamojong tribe in the evening. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in African-style manyattas, which are uniquely constructed houses.
A visit to Karamojong communities will teach you a lot about their culture, art and crafts, and entertainment using traditional sound equipment, traditional songs and dances that will leave you speechless. Dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3 Kidepo valley national park – Morning game drive and hot spring – visit to the Ik People

After a hearty breakfast, go on another morning game drive in search of more wildlife species such as huge Elephants, herds of buffalo, many 17 antelope species, Zebras, Bush pig, Black backed jackal, Bat eared fox, African hunting dog, Caracal, Lions, and possibly Leopards. Later, pay a visit to the famous Hot Springs, which is a magnificent place to take a memorial. Then there will be a charity visit to the Ike people, who are some of Uganda’s most isolated people. Dinner and a night’s stay.

DAY 4 Kidepo valley national park – Drive back to Entebbe international park or Kampala city.
